        Acre-Hickey

St. Aloysius Church was the scene of a pretty Fail wedding Thursday morning when Miss Teresa Elizabeth Acre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Acre, became the bride of William H. Hickey of Rochester, formerly of Auburn. The ceremony was performed by Rev J. J. McGrath. During the mass which followed Mrs. Maurice Walsh sang There is no Heart Like Thine. Miss Geraldine Beechman presided at the organ.

After the nuptials a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride, 207 Seymour Street. Mrs. Hickey was charming in a gown of blue canton crepe, with silver hat and carried white roses. She was attended by Miss Genevieve Mulligan who wore a gown of henna and black satin and carried pink roses. Joseph M. Hickey, brother of the groom acted as best man.

The bride is a well known and popular young woman of this city having been in the employ of the New York Telephone Company a number of years. Mr. Hickey is a World War veteran and a member of Company M and at present a student of the Rochester Mechanic Institute. After a brief honeymoon they will make their home at 86 Adams Street, Rochester.
