        Laura Case Kent, 80

        Laura Case Kent, 80 of Route 174, Marietta, died April 8, 2002 at her home.

        She was born in the Town of Onondaga on June 30, 1921. She was head cook for 15 years at Skaneateles Nursing Home, retiring in 1974. She was a former member of the Navarino Grange and a former member of Navarino United Methodist Church.

        Her husband Clifford A. Kent, died in 1996.

        Surviving are three sons, Clifford: Kent of Mottville, James Kent of Auburn and Mark Kent of Eden; two sisters, Inez Searle of Navarino and Helen May of Saranac lake, and five grandchildren.

        Calling hours and services were held at Norris Funeral Home, 33 North Street, Marcellus. Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino.

        Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse 13204.
